Murder Hornets

I just had an idea and I’m gonna roll with it since we have a new year coming up. And what’s new about the idea? Well it all begins with repackaging old things. Sound logic.

I decided to randomly pick out 12 previously released songs, going back as far as 2020, and rerelease them in a compilation. A “greatest hits” kind of packaging. An “un-greatest hits” if you will. Putting it on vinyl too. The record I’m drafting right now will be a combo release with most of Side A being a recently released EP called “1985A” and the rest of the record being songs from this “Un-Greatest Hits” album.

For the digital version of the release, I toyed with the idea of assigning a month from the upcoming year. Then as the year progresses, revisit the song, maybe post the lyrics, and then post a horoscope to see if we can find any spooky correlations between audible waves and alignment of stars.
